Chapter 1: Routine
Reporting on the day-by-day
"The mundane reality"
The activist gets on a train
Expecting the world to see his way.
Making plans for the future
That in his mind, one day will come
When his tranquil life, will all be gone
And in its place will be, what he will call his home.
He remains positive, although in jest
As he believe his way's the best
Testing ideas of equality and freedom
While peace and happiness he protests!
looking at the landscape
He thinks of the tortures and rapes
That have now shaped society
Passing a poppy field he is reminded of hell
Meanwhile the capital city is seeing poppies as well.
Chapter 2: An Opportunity for Unity?
There is always a silver lining
And unfortunate events can have the best timing
He sat patiently, awaiting a course of action
But alas, a sudden negative reaction?
"This wasn't the world that I had envisioned!"
"Where is my choice? Where is my decision?"
He suddenly realised, what he had forgot
The fantasy that he had, others did not.
Your pretty state
Is a state of mind
It'll all be gone
Once the time is right
No more control
And they'll wonder why
Everyone thought
This was how to survive
You can be freed
You will be free
There is hope left for, humanity
You may see slim, possibilities
But a change of mind will let you see
A change of heart will set you free
There was a time when men
Ruled the world
And there wasn't a chance
For some little girl
But the girl grew up
And her choice was set
And she's made us look back
With a deep regret
You can be freed
You will be free
There is hope left for, humanity
You may see slim, possibilities
But a change of mind will let you see
A change of heart will set you free

Cats Milly is one of the best current artists around, unique and original, relate-able and real music, I seriously recommend checking out all her albums. The Crooked Trees
